Reason for Being

Dawn volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Nkenkaasu-Ashanti, Ghana (near the Brong Ahafo region) & created an English Class for children with over 80 children and 3 teachers in attendance (one teacher was 14 years old). The program evolved into a English school and breakfast program that lasted about 3 years.

2011

Start of Non-Profit

Collaborated with four (4) other members, the Original Directors, Captain Edmund Koda, Dawn Simmons, James Tillmon, Lance Corporal Samuel Amoh Antwi and Joani Blanc to continue helping others which would also include scholarship program for orphans and creating boreholes in rural areas.

2019

Phase Two

Chief of Nkenkaasu died and the team of Directors worked together to make our mission a reality with a place to call home. In 2020, additional officers joined and we settled at our office in Nkenkaasu in 2021. With hopes to duplicate the same program in the Eastern Region and in other rural areas both in Ghana and the United States within the next few years.
